Mommy update
So, recovery isn't going as planned and instead of releasing mom to come home now they are going to transfer her to a live-in recovery (read: nursing home (im thinking)) place in Georgetown ( Read more... ) -
Mommy Update
Mom got out of surgery around 4pm today and the surgeon said everything went smoothly. She is sleeping now and will be until some time tomorrow most likely. It'll be a couple of days before we find out how her recovery is really going to go, but the outlook is good! -
Shes really not THAT old!
Got a call this morning from my dad saying my mom had fallen and broken her hip. I came up to the hopspital in Round Rock and have been here ever since ( Read more... ) -
First impressions on the new semester

Grades Posted
Just as I predicted I earned an A in my Education class and a B in my Lit. course. This gives me a 3.5 for the semester and brings my GPA to 3.45.
I was worried about the Lit. course but it turned out well. -
One more way this is a good week.
Just got back from one of my coworkers house where we enjoyed bourbon and pop-o-matic trouble, but the bourbon started well before we got off work. Oh, and our boss was with us on the drinking before the clock out and trouble action.
Yeah, very fun, very good.
Still wish I was hanging out with another though.
