I loved this so much! I'm so happy you had Neville as the main character, because lately (as you know) I've felt so much love towards Neville! I love your depiction of him, it's totally on point. I'm also glad you included Astoria, I'm always happy when she gets screen time (and is portrayed well, like she is here!). You're so good describing friendships, Slytherin friendships especially in this case, and I really loved the dynamics between the characters. I also liked the rhythm of the story, and how it mimicked the rhythm of a real house party, the slightly chaotic/confusing feeling of things and the sudden changes in the atmosphere. This was an amazing gift, thank you so much! <3

Neville is the best! I was really happy to explore him more (and let him explore himself a bit more, heh). I was insecure about Astoria since I hardly had any idea of her before writing this, but I think she's started to develop in my head enough to write her a bit. Glad you liked it, I wasn't sure if you would! And glad you liked the rhythm (another thing I was insecure about, because you know how I write, super un-linearly and messily) and got the chaotic houseparty vibe off it I was going for! <3
