tell me about your mother. No.

Just tell me something interesting about yourself. Can't think of something interesting? Tell me where is your favorite place to live, or travel. Tell me what you wanna do when you grow up. Tell me something. Please?

My tell.... I can't read my birth certificate. heh.

I am conventional to the point of it being a joke among my fairly non conventional friends. At time, I suspect that I am the token person who makes their bed, just so we have one around. :)

I miss living in Sunnyvale, CA, where the weather was lovely and there were blooming plants everywhere all the time. It was geek heaven, as well - Silicon Valley is accustomed to geeks and is not phased at all by them in stores or in restaurants. It was a shock to the system coming back to the east coast and being seated by the kitchen because, heaven forfend, I wore slacks and a polo shirt. I mean. Come on.

When I grew up, I wanted to have a husband who took care of the 2.5 kids the husband would give birth to. I did not explain this to anyone; I just assumed it would be the case.

Mice are territorial creatures and they do not like strange invader mice in their space.

Heh, it is good to be different. :)

I am too used to the West coast, I have a feeling the east would confuse me as much as I would confuse them.

Heh, lemme know how that husband giving birth thing goes. I am sure that would go over great.... for women.

mice... heh, invader mice. *grin*

My husband stood about looking anxious and being supportive when Jamie was born. He did a very nice job of it. Then he stood about looking zen and doing the work when Jamie was tiny. Now he stands about looking calm and paternal and reasonable while I assume a pleasant expression and reason with our toddler. Our toddler tends to win.

It didn't work *badly*. It just failed the primary requirement.

Ah, culture shock... adn being a part of the rich western world. Even the poor are rich here.
I can't imagine seeing that, I am sure I would be shocked, and more.

Something interesting.....
I still occasionally have a hard time sleeping with someone else in the bed. You'd think I would be used to it after 11+ years now.
On the flip side, some nights I have a hard time sleeping if there isn't someone there...

As for my favorite place I've ever visited (so far), I think it would be Munich. Such a neat city.

As for what I wanna do when I grow up, I don't think it much matters. So long as I'm making decent money and don't hate what I'm doing or whom I'm working with, I'll keep going.
