Title: Busted Characters: Wilson, House Rating: G Genre: Gen, friendship Words: 1200 Summary: Wilson's down with a wicked migraine--fine time for House to start acting stranger than usual! x-posted
Aw, that was awesome. I love House caring about others and most of the hospital population not knowing a thing about it. Question: have you been getting any of my other comments? Are you getting this one?
yes, hon--getting the comments. but until we get our second opinion, i'm busy living in the fifty-first State (you know the one--Denial), so i'm not allowing myself to dwell on anything concerning the whole issue. it was exploding my brain, which was oh-so-not helping any aspect of daily life. let me have my carefully constructed little happyworld for a bit; it'll all blow up again soon enough... sigh.
uh... you do know that the awesome blackmare_9 isn't writing these, don't you? she and misanthropicobs are generously doing the first reading for me, but i assure you, i actually write my own fics! :)
OMG. I am so sorry. Please accept my apologies. I also love your fics. As a matter of fact, I've gotten so spoiled by you and just a few other writers, that I now check to see who wrote it before I read it. Once again, please accept my apologies Kidnurse - totally my bad!! :)
Man that opening paragraph certainly is familiar to me. My Mom has beastly migraines like this at least once a month. Loved the fic though and yay for Mel Brooks festival!
that first paragraph should ring bells with everyone who's ever suffered a migraine, and everyone who's ever suffered a migraine sufferer! not a pleasant situation; the fic is (i hope!) a lot more fun than the actual situation it depicts!! ;)
The thing about House that Wilson seems to have forgotten is that he doesn't like physical pain. It's necessary sometimes (e.g. waking up the kid in Distractions), but he wouldn't inflict it on Wilson for no reason. Now EMOTIONAL pain is another story.
It's kind of sad that House had to make up a selfish reason before Wilson would trust him.

when one is in the throes of a migraine, everyone becomes "the enemy" and even the most mild-mannered among us can turn nasty. blame wilson's mistrust on the pain! :)
I blame it on House's determination to make sure that no one believes he'd ever do anything nice just because he wants to.
And that's sad. And you know what else is sad? Is that if Wilson would trust House more often, I think he'd find out just how much he really could trust House.
You are on fire. What magic substance is enabling this run of fics?
Got a larger story planned, writing around it? *wink wink* I've been there many a time, and I hope that's not where you are...so I take back the winking. ;)
shhhhh!! hush, sy-- you'll remind them of the sequel to The More Things Change, and they'll ask about it again, and i'll... and i'll.... and... *wanders off, babbling incoherently at the mere thought of anything which must contain a cohesive plot from chapter to chapter to chapter to.....*

I beat up on a different author on occasion, but only because she keeps maiming Wilson provokes me. Hee.
