I'm glad we got together with M&L yesterday, because we found out about the 1993 C-U band reunion show at The Highdive. We're definitely coming back for that show

Yeah, it's Memorial Day weekend. I was worried that it was a Sunday night when I first saw that, but I think they booked it that way because of the holiday.
Tiny was around the same time, but Hot Glue Gun was definitely before them; I don't think there was any overlap in band members. Heh, every time I hear that Cadillac commercial I'm sorta transported to the basement of a C-U rock show houseparty. I'm pretty sure the leader singer of HGG still lives in town, but I don't know where the other members are. Steakdaddy 6 was sort of the supergroup, with members of lots of bands in it, I haven't heard anything about them.

They sounded like Honcho, iirc, which makes sense. I remember Braid from the later years, I think they were part of the beginning of the whole emocore movement. I don't remember Cap'n Jazz.
