Can't Wait to Move

We close in less than two weeks. We've been thinking a lot about what we need to do and where things will go in the new place. We have our moving checklist from the last move, so that'll help make sure we don't forget anything.

Trip transit insurance: No, we've never done that. Didn't even know it existed.

Tip: We tipped around $30-$40 per guy that last move. I overtipped for sure because they sucked. The previous crew was worth it, though, because they were done early and came in below the estimate. Since you don't have as much stuff to move... dunno, maybe $20 a guy?

Bad grammer. What I meant was, that crew sucked. They were't worth tipping, although I probably would still have given them $20/guy... max. They went over time (and the estimate) because they screwed around as soon as Liz and I weren't around to baby sit... a shame, because we had used the same moving company our last move and that crew rocked.

Thanks, $20/guy is the number I made up and now that you've said it, it seems reasonable to me. I mean, if we prep everything properly, I bet two guys can have everything done in 2 hours flat. And I'll even give them lemonade!

We gave the good crew beer and bottled water. Maybe that's why they worked so hard.

Cool, thanks! I think that's what we'll go with as a base, and we'll definitely have beverages and snacks for the movers. =)
