Oh my word! I've just spent the last 2 days at the nursery I'm going to be working in - getting to know the kids (adorable) and meet the children and parents who are starting next year. This afternoon a child had another child accidentally shut her fingers in a door - quite badly. The head teacher in the room left the family she had been talking to

Good luck! Those mums sound... rather challenging... (I'd like to know whether the mother who complained would have wanted her child to be put second to the needs of an adult had she been injured. I mean, for fuck's sake, the fact that they put the kids first should be a plus when visiting a nursery, surely?????)

But good to know the kids and staff, who you;ll be spending most of your time with, are lovely!
