Instead of coming to NJ to help you pack, why doesn't Chris go to Portland and find you a semi-acceptable Appartment to live in by the time you get there? Then he can help you move in and you can enjoy his compnay there? Since a flight is being paid for already to get to you, it shouldn't be too hard to alter it's heading. Practicality is more of a cencern here than a driving partner no?

the drive from new jersey to utah is just too far to do on my own. I did it before in about 31 hours, but that was with help from one of my other friends. i should be able to make the drive to portland from utah, no problem. oh how i wish someone else would find an acceptable apartment for me. it will be ok though, chris actually decided he's going to stay in salt lake once we drive there. then when i get to portland i can stay with those people... as awkward as it might be.

yeah, i'm going to be working in milwaukie, which is further south. i don't want to have to cross over the bridge to get to work onaccounta traffic and such.

SE is an ok area. cheap and such.

i am staying with karly for a bit til i find a job and get on my feet, then i'll be looking for a place.

if you need a place to stay for a bit down there let me know and i'll talk to my friend.

what area are you going to live in? i have to live on the same side of the river as i work, so i had it narrowed down to NE and SE. Then I was told that parts of NE are like Magna, Utah. haha. I was recommended the Hawthorne District by a few separate sources, so that's where i'm headed.

when do you go?
