Suckful. Apparently noone likes the first term, or even year, of university, though. I hated my first term, but this term I had a better idea of what subjects I like (so I chose good ones), I'm adjusting to the workload without stressing, and beginning to meet people - even though I thought I was unlovable and would spend the rest of my life alone.

Just remember that what you're doing is worthwhile, I suppose, and try to go along with it all.
I hope it gets good soon. You deserve goodness!

P.S. Tutors are just like teachers - some good, some not. I swear they just pulled my media studies tutor off the street ('hey, you, bum! I'll give you fifty bucks and a sandwich to be a uni tutor for the term!") But they put the bad ones, and lecturers too, mainly in first year subjects.

haha i think the part about them being bums is funny.

My problem is i dont thiink that it is worthwhile it sorta just seems like a waste of time and money... all i want to do is go to bloody uq.

you should see how boring my classes are... i have no idea how any one would use any of the stuff they teach...

my first assignment for one of my classes was how to paraphrase! it was stupid. but i got a HD so atleast thatss a good thing...

im applying for special consideration this time... did you know that in year 11+12 combined i missed 422 days! i should have just taken the year off.. that would have been a really good holiday.

maybe if i get in to uq you can show me around or something.

How to paraphrase... huh. This is *part* of almost all my assignments (except logic, which is like maths but infinitely better). In some ways the assessment is really demanding, because although there are criteria sheets, the real rules are unwritten.
Is HD a high distinction? 7? That's brilliant if it is! I've only had 7s in logic and critical reasoning (similar to logic but less formal).
I would be very pleased to show you around UQ if you get in. Keep in mind, though, I don't know all of it and have a very bad sense of direction. In the exams period last semester I got lost about 50 meters from the great court, between there and Wordsmiths (a cafe). You'll understand how absurd this is when you see it. ^^
