I think the key to the simple life it not worrying about the stuff that you can not fix. The economy is bad, Americans are now flying themselves into buildings, Obama promised change but he wasted his first year on a failed health care initiative, and almost any place you work for will have crazy office politics. On the bright side of things according to wiki so far the US is beating Germany who has won the total medal count in the last three winter Olympics.
