I read about what people would do if they got to experience a different body for a while. Girls said if they had the body of a guy, they'd stick their privates into anything. Guys said if they magically had the body of a girl, they'd touch their boobs all the time.

Snape, lol, I could only imagine what he'd want to do for the time he's in Harry's body. :P

I curious about how the personality of the Snape in your story will turn out. Even the real Snape, Rowling's, I was curious as to who he would have been or could have been without his Death Eater role tying him to a specific persona that he's expected to play. He's a dynamic character where all we truly know is that his love is intense and eternal. (and you've kept to that part of him well.)

So it was when I was reading this line:

"Then again, was Snape ever himself, or just roles he played for various purposes?"

Then I realized that the Snape we thought we knew wasn't truly him. His time spent as a triple agent reflects on this complex character, but doesn't define who he is because his voice and actions were limited to the roles he played in the war.

You've now set the story up so that you have creative control on showing us who you think Snape truly is (within the confines of your plot.) As long as you portray his intensity, bravery, and intelligence I think you'll do good.

Happy Writings!
