The ending is so sweet (in a Oh no not Snape! kind of way), I like it just as much as in the 7th book when Snape tells Harry to look at him for the last time.

And it's worth my time to write my top favourite author lamely
reactions. Say hello to Alan and Eric, please. And tell them they have
unbelievably handy mum.
For some reason I don't know the imagine of Severus's preparations
while Harry is sleeping is so touching.
How could they possibly return to normalcy after this? - this is
killing me. It is painful to watch Severus go. To hear his thoughts.
To know he knows about truth (fuck the truth).

Snape has too many potions in him to die. I don't think he will! He won't! Plus he's a planner, so he has backup plan, like that clone of himself. So, he will LIVE!
