Invictus Chapter 45

Oct 08, 2012 14:20

I've been very busy getting ready for the boys. Since they are twins and growing quite large, I won't be going to 40 weeks, which means they will be here by Thanksgiving! I'm excited to know I'll get to meet them sooner, but also going a bit mad because I'm very limited in my mobility and I have so much left to do. Thankfully, my husband is back ( Read more... )

Congratulations! I missed that you were pregnant! Twins are so much fun - of courses am speaking from the perspective of being a twin, not having them myself!

Off ton read!

Any advice? I don't know any twins other than my uncles, but I don't know them very well.

I'm not sure if my advice is good. :) my identical twin sister and I had a blast growing up. We started out being dressed exactly the same - only different colors. It is impossible to tell who is who now.! We grew up and bought totally different things, but still share everything. It is great having two closets and paying for one!
My best advice is to tolerate your twins. My sister and I were total opposites personality wise, and that caused many an argument. We knew each other in a way a single really never understands. Just let them help you decide about how similar they will be. I always thought it was fun to see my sister push our parents limits. I watched and learned and then tried the good child tact. Twins play you like that. :)
I wish you the very best and I know you will have so many laughs - after all the dual feelings and diapers. My parents are proud of us. And I know you will be so proud of yours!

Hi sry for jumping into the conversation, but my family has lots of twins (lots of kids in general lol) but what I always noticed with my twin cousins expecially the girl ones is that they are really close but tend to compete with each other a lot more than my cousins of different age. Expecially if they wear the same clothing and other people confuse them all the time they want to be their own person and so they try to distinguish themself from each other by being "the better twin". It gets better when they find things only they are good at (like one of them is good in drawing and the other one good at running, doing sports etc) its probablly just a thing that's typically for my family but if u notice this behaviour it would be a good idea to seperate them in school (so that they are not in the same class) because expecially school work and test are competetive material for them. But everybody is different ;) two friends of mine are also twins which are really close and no rivals at all :)

This whole chapter kept making me awe. It's been a while, but I think this chapter really showed Snape's feelings... And to think I was going into this story thinking he was either half-hearted, or too twisted to love (And your remixes didn't help those thoughts! I thought he was evil.). But I'm so glad he isn't. I can't wait for the story to progress - I can feel the ending become closer.

Have you decided on twin boy names yet? And Thanksgiving is so soon. I bet you're excited to just get them out.

And it's great your husband is coming back soon. I have family deployed and about to be deployed, it's hard.

Excited for the next chapter! I still don't really understand/know Snape's plan. But I hope it hints to if he survies or not. :D

I'm soooo eager to get them out, but I've been having problems with preterm labor, so I'm also hoping that they don't arrive too early. We have a list of names, but we haven't picked the exact ones until we see them.

Yes! You're back! It seems not that long ago at all that you mentioned to us rabid readers of yours that you had found out you were pregnant with twins, and now you're already having them! Time flies.

I'm also amazed at your ability at the smooth transition you made from Severus not respecting Harry at all, to slowly gaining his respect despite his shortcomings, to Severus even admitting to his love for Harry. I think that over everything shows Severus's maturity, seeing as by the end of NoG, Harry had just barely managed to admit to himself about his feelings for Severus while still holding on to this ideal form of Ginny that he has in his mind, and he still couldn't quite reconcile with the two yet.

So, greatly looking forward to the new chapter, and the much awaited sequel!!!

I feel like i've been pregnant forever, but it probably just feels longer.

Harry was definitely more confused by the end of NoG, but I hope Harry's confusion is understandable given his age and circumstance.

Oh, I'd love to know if Snape survives or not. But I guess we'll have to wait 14 more chapters...

I am glad to hear your pregnancy is going well! :) All the best!

Each chapter makes me want more since there is so much that reading NoG from Harry's point of view we didnt know! Severus losing so he can teach Harry how to give a good blowjob! >:D ;) And trying to save Harry at all costs and making plans to take him away...I must confess this makes me sad, since I know how NoG ended... :S :S :S

Thank you for the update! I admire you that you keep on posting with so much to do! :)

Thank you so much! I might end up spamming the rest of the story in one day if the boys decide to arrive early.
