I heard about this earlier and I just...I cannot believe Michael Moore. I admired his work so much and now I don't know how or if I'll ever watch one of his documentaries again.

My first issues with Michael Moore surfaced when we studied Roger and Me in a film history class and read an article about how he portrayed events out of order without comment and omitted details that would've been detrimental to his argument.

But...yeah. This is not helping my opinion of or respect for him. :(

i can't read any news stories about this because it upsets me too much - i'm glad you can. i don't know if you "tweet," but one of my friends at wellesley who's really active in sexual assault survivors/education things is doing a "tweet tag" called "mooreandme" that seems relevant.
i'm SO glad to hear that someone else feels upset and outraged by this blatant dismissal of the significance of sexual assault. oh god.

I completely understand - you have to do what's safe for you. <3 But yeah, #mooreandme is what all of those articles are about - they're the links to the Tiger Beatdown posts that started it. I've been tweeting about it all I can, but twitter is doing weird things to my computer...
