Right. So first I got sick, and then I got sick on top of that. It makes sense, I promise, if not a pretty picture. I'm not being overly productive, sadly, but I've been thinking thoughts and we all know how dangerous it is for me. *shudders*

So. Distract me!

I like first person the most, to write, tense doesn't annoy me either way. For immediate sensory parts, present works very nicely. for more thoughtful narrative parts, past is easier. so it depends on what I'm trying to do.

Present does work well for that kind of thing, doesn't it? And sometimes past just flows...

I dunno. I don't have a preference, either. :)

I like to write present, but that's because I'm fairly action/movement oriented when it comes to writing, and present makes it feel more immediate.
I prefer to read past, though, oddly enough.
