It is weird and I think it captures the dynamics of what is going on in the show brilliantly. This was great. I could not pull my eyes from the screen.

My God your Arthur is one screwed up puppy!! Sadly, you seem to have the cannon relationship down perfectly here, just transplanted to the modern world. If you hadn't made Merlin gay, I'd call them "hetero life-partners". All the trials and tribulations of being married with none of the real benefits. Poor Merlin. I mean, poor Arthur too but really, Merlin's the one who got the sharp end of the shaft in an uncomfortable place.

Arthur's demand, “And you sleep with me afterwards. They can’t stay the night, and I get you afterwards.” I've only seen that depth of messed up on the job. (I'm a psychiatric nurse.)

Great job on this. It's very well written, flows nicely and makes too much tragic sense. Kudos!

Arthur is a troubled puppy, but Merlin has issues, too, because he just goes along with it. He kicks and screams occasionally, but still lets it all happen in the end. They're as screwed up as each other here, methinks.

Thank you! I love it too, took me a while to track down the creator so I could see if it was for common use or not (it is!).

And yep, Merlin is as screwed up as Arthur because he is his co-dependent enabler. I had hope for him for about 10 seconds when he moved to New Zealand but...he came back. Bit of a martyr complex our Merlin has!
