Ooh, first post. I'd like to think it's because I'm such a fast reader that I beat out the other readers for the spot. anyway...

Great story. I liked this and I thought it /was/ well worth the read, despite your A/N, so there. It was a nice romance with a slight intrigue on the side, though it never really eventuated into action, which I thought it would. I liked the pron, (there could have been more ::pouts::) and I liked Gaila especially. Well done, and thanks!

I'm going to pretend that I never read the author's note about this being what your teenage self would have written, so I can love it as much as I do without feeling ashamed <3 <3 I loved Jim with his neuroses and Jim-ness, refusing to take any crap, that was awesome. And Spock with more human-ness but still Spock and awesome. And Uhura, who is made of win. And protective!Pike. Because Chris Pike is a beast. Just love. And I will be rereading this.
