I read this part last night but was too tired to leave a comment. Loving the burgeoning relationship between Jim and Spock as they gradually get to know each other. Spock getting Gaila Vulcan citizenship was just so...Spock - perfect! And Chekov! So cute and smitten!Sulu - loving this ensemble so much. ♥

Spock only ever grumbles for show. He can't really leave a damsel in distress any more than Jim can. ;)
