So, I saw Thor today...

It might be overly simplistic, and screwing up the Elder Edda, and I'm not a fan of Natalie Portman, but...
no spoilers inside )

No offense meant to Chris Pine, but I think even Jim Kirk would be somewhat intimidated by his old man's massive hotness :D

Haha, this photo is actually abysmal. It was like 100 times MORE on screen, so yeah, Jim kinda pales in comparison... :D

LOL those were my thoughts exactly when I saw this. JFC!

One of my RL friends and I have this ongoing inside joke where we talk about who's our celebritiy boyfriend/astral husband (like her sending me an email with a pic of a new guy she saw in a movie/TV show, saying that's her new bf), and I texted her after the movie: "I now have an affair with Chris Hemsworth. Don't tell princess!"

One question: apart from the obvious pros, worth of being seen on big screen or tv/ comp screen will be enough? Can't decide with a friend whose ass we want to oglewhich actor we want to admire.

Well, I saw it in 3D and I'm not regretting it. ;)

Heh, the 3D in the only cinema in my town is more like 2,5D 8D , so that's not really something that convinces me, but I wouldn't mind seeing the obvious benefits in 3D. Oh no, I wouldn't. :D

I remember Chris Hemsworth in Home and Away. I WILL ALWAYS THINK OF HIM AS KIM, OKAY? (Hahaha, I was so shocked when I saw him as Daddy Kirk. I might have squeaked.) He buffed out for his role as Thor, he wasn't his fit in ST:XI or Home and Away. But Chris has always had a yummy face.

I do appreciate a professional who takes his work so seriously and with such dedication... Makes for a nice visual. :D

those benefits were indeed, amazing.

However, I didn't get why the NORSE gods were multicultural. I am not trying to be a jerk or discriminate here, but they were supposed to be from a very specific area of the world... Does that make any sense at all?

Oh also... there was a mud wrestling scene! why do guys get to keep their shirts on when girls are required to take them off!

Yes, that was very unfair of them. *pouts*

Although maybe not too bad...

TBH, I stopped asking this kind of questions a long time ago, unless the movie in question is supposed to be historical... Makes for more fun watching. ;)

It's a kind of movie you watch only for one actor. I plan to see The Priest for KU although he won't be as undressed as our blondie here :( Shame... But at least I have "The truth about the demons" to comfort me XD

And those jeans should be illegal!

Lemme know how that goes then. ;)

They seriously should. *frowns*
