Four people driving out of a burning village. Be warned, disturbing imagery. Oh, and if you understand Russian by any chance, don't listen unless you want your ears to fall off from the mother of cussing.
I've been only hearing little bits about this disaster here (stateside) and only because I've been able to see some BBC world news every once in a while. I can't believe how the news media over here haven't been on this. :(
Ok, you can say it's an irony. We had a flood (although maybe I shouldn't use a past tense as this shit is still going on. Oh and we have hail storms as well), you guys are dealing with heat and fire. Is it just me who thinks that the whole 2010 is just f****d up? Take care! Oh and you can always drop to my house in UK. There wasn't any sun there for the last month.
No, no, I've been thinking about it as well. Two major earthquakes, a flood in Europe, a flood in Pakistan, wildfires here... It's like planet Earth has had enough of all of us. *sighs* Not that I don't understand it.
OMG. That's all I can say. Also, fuck the US media. They are so obsessed with the First Lady's holiday that they are not reporting the important stuff like this.
It's news, but stupid news. The First Lady is a independently wealthy woman in her own right; going to Spain for a holiday should not be more important than letting us know what our brothers and sisters in Russia are going through.
It really is amazing (read: not that unexpected) that America's not covering this in the news. I honestly originally found out about all this from you, and I've been finding out more from BBC and online articles.
2010 is just a effed up year (and the US media is conceited, but then, that's not exactly new). Hold out hopes for 2011. -_- I really hope things get better for everyone soon.

Are you OK over there?

Yep, I'm okay. Not peachy, obviously, but hanging in there. Thanks for asking. :)
