First off, I'm back. My laptop is making attempts toward killing itself in this endless heat, and I can't say I blame it, but I still hope it will survive. (Seriously, they have 23C in London, but we have 38C in Moscow? For two months? What kind of planet is this, again?)
Second off, thank you everyone, and especially

Glad to see you are writing again :). All I seem to want to do lately is draw all day long instead of write.

Yeah, it's more like I have this favorite ankle I like to sprain from time to time. Apparently. Just -- it's a longer way to fall since I was six, is all. >.<

The Atlantic Ocean is a funny thing. It cools us in the summer (23C/75F is an average July day) and it warms us in the winter (5C/40F is an average January day). I'm very happy to be living in London and not Moscow right now!
As for your injury, I'm sorry to hear of the accident. This means you're not very mobile, right? And your laptop *is* still working, right? So this means you have nothing to do but to rest your poor ankle and write lots of lovely K/S fic. Yes/Yes? :-)
What have you been up to? ;)I began my first AU, based on our beloved Enterprise crew as students at the San Francisco Music Academy, located at Fort Mason on the banks of the bay and next door to the infamous StarFleet Academy (yes, it's set in the same timeframe as ST). I've stalled after 22k words and 4 chapters and feel bad for the people who have read it this far, but I'm finding taking away the ST universe and missions and the ship and the routines make it much, much, much harder to write. It's not ( ... )

Any chance of you coming? :-)

See, and you say your sense of humor is hard to get. ;)

LOL. I think we can scratch 'right now' from that sentence. ;)
Yeah. *sighs* My country is on fire. Unfortunately literally. People are being evacuated from the flame consumed areas, some lose their homes... it's pretty horrible. Every day they tell us that another temperature record has been beaten for the last 100 and something years. I don't think anyone cares. You know, I used to complain about our average summers, with their 20-25C and raining. I'm never doing it again, I swear to God. At this point, I don't think I'll complain if it snows.
And your laptop *is* still working, right?
Sadly, it's not working in my apartment, something I hadn't found out until this morning. It's too hot in there for it to be able to turn on. I used to be unaware that such a thing could happen to a computer. Kinda wish I was still ignorant.

Actually I heard a story about a guy who sky dived into a tree. He was stuck there for two hours and didn't feel any pain until he was in the ambulance. The body can do amazing things when it needs to. Doesn't mean everyone is like that but still. Not unheard of.
Yay writing! The start's always the hardest part; for me at least.
Ugh, I know how you feel on the weather. We either have rain or humidity and high heat. There's no relief. It's been going like this for two months. I'm ready for fall.
Freaking out mostly. Last semester of college, applying to grad school, moving to a new place and just. I'm not ready to grow up.

You and me both. I always loved summer. Guess that's about to change as they promise us no change in temperature till September at least.
I'm not ready to grow up.
LOL. I still haven't. ;)

Ugh I know. Probably won't be until October before we get relief. I cannot stand the heat or the sun. Pale skin is not conducive to sunlight. Come on winter!
