Oh, I think Spock would be an excellent mentor for those who does wish to study/get results. He'll give opportunities, supervise but not pester, and he's not jealous or ambitious on his own. *nods*

:D I promise to stop soon. ;)

This!
"those lingering, viscous sounds of Gershwin’s Summertime"
Perfect description for a beautiful piece.

I must confess something. I need to read the next chapters now! And I mean, Right Now. It´s like I´ve never read them before, they are just that perfect. I´m anxious to know what will happen.
Stupid, I know. :D

Random things I just love:
Recalculating Pi or something.
Spock banned by Scotty.
Uhura leaning on Spock.
Spock soothing Kirk.
Lieutenant something almost crashing with the wall.
Bones making annoying "sounds".
Pechalat stopping at the lab door.
The Banum dancing dots.

Aaaand.....SNEAKY SPOCK! The guy is a galactic menace!
Of course the reports aren´t "that" urgent, and he "needs" to meditate. Blame humans, they are so vague...

Well, I like Pechalat, but you know this already. Psst. I suspect Spock likes her, too. ;)

Wouldn't you lean on Spock if you were allowed to? :D

Sneaky Spock is sneaky. Living with those unbearable humans, he has to be. :P

Wait a minute...I have a wonderful idea. What if you write me as a Mary Sue?! *Is thrilled by her original idea*
I could fix the warp core and make the best capuccino and, of course, Captain Fine, Sexy Vulcan and Grumpy Doctor would fall for me. And I could flirt with them without noticing I´m destroying their friendship, because I´m that innocent.*bats eyelashes*
I´m not decided if I want to be a petite green eyed pixie, with adorable freckles, or just a tall stunning and classy beauty, the kind that make crowds step aside....
Mmmhh, I´m liking this too much, perhaps!:D
Just a transporter tech fainting on Spock´s arms would be OK. :DDDDD

Warning: today my imagination is running wild. Really wild....

Ah man, to come back from a busy weekend to find not one but two chapters of this fic, which is rapidly becoming my all-time favorite for the fandom... it's like my birthday (only better, because I don't have to lie and tell everyone 'I'm 29 today' when reading this, the way I do on my birthday ;-).

Where to start (brace yourself for a whole lot of adjectives)... I guess we'll start with the customary, you're brilliant, which you know that I know that you know that I know, already, 'cause I think I may have told you that once or twice before. However, these new chapters are so freakin' good, it bears repeating (and knowing your high quality of work the I do, I can safely say that you can expect to hear it again in the near future).

I loved the ode to "Naked Time" in part two with the matter/anti-matter jump start. I loved the competent crew. But most of all, I loved the Spock and Kirk banter in sickbay at the end. For some reason I found that exchange intensely touching (as well as hilarious), I must have reread it at least three ( ... )

a Teran suffering caffeine withdrawals? It's like Pon Farr for humans. The lust for hot, caffeinated goodness is unimaginable, and may cause bleary eyes, grunting, and possibly aggression, when gone un-sated. ;-)

Bwhahahahahahahahah!!!!! *snicker* Thanks for the laugh, miss/sir. :D

Huge surprise there. *giggles* It's cool, BB, I like it best, too. ;)

I did warn about the excessive adjective usage

Yep. You mind if I borrow some for my beta? She deserves the better part of them from you guys anyway. ;)

I'm thrilled you liked the piano scene. It was great fun to write, I confess, even though I don't usually go for Jim-worship. :)

Aw, but Spock's only worried the captain won't be able to sleep. LOL.

It is my coffee

*blushes* *fans self* *flails*
I am honored.

The good doctor has started to call Deck Fourteen, where most of the science labs are, ‘the zombie factory.’

...*headdesk* now I imagine a science officer going 'braaaaiiinnns' *zombie walk*

Now, really, Bones. :D

They are due in six hours fourteen minutes, which gives Spock an excuse to say, “No, Lieutenant. They are not so urgent.”

...How... sneaky of you, Spock.

“Yeah; I don’t think you’ll be getting any until we sort this mess out.”

The funny thing is, they aren't together anymore. :D

...seriously, Bones? What is with you and the walking dead? (Does this mean the medbay is like the necromancers of the ship?)

Spock blinks. Kirk grins and clarifies. “Don’t screw them, don’t screw with them, don’t screw them over, and don’t let them screw you in any way in return.”And everything will probably end well, if you actually listen to those 'rules'. :P ( ... )

*giggles* Bones is just so special. :D

Sneaky Spock might be a secret kink of mine. He's so good at it. ;)

...and kinda of slashy, lol. :D

No 'kinda' about it. :D
