Part IV is written. secret_chord25 and I are working on editing the chapters now (or rather Molly is working her ass off and I’m drinking Chianti and thinking of ten different ways to embarrass myself further) and I’ll be posting them as they become available. Before we begin, though, I’d like to offer a few words of explanation regarding this arc for those who ( Read more... )

YAY! And I agrre - many more than just few people will jump from joy after reading this (me including ;). As for the warnings - Honey, every person who is tracking your stories would never expect from you an easy solution. Yeah, shit happened and a serious one to add (especially for Spock) and I doubt that any amount of a magic "c**ck healing" would help either of them and I'm sure that the whole shit about loosing so many people will kick in for Kirk after the adrenaline will drop and he will be already on the Enterprise, scared shitless that he is going screw up. So yes - there is no way for those guys NOT TO HAVE some serious mental issues, but who said that their epic relationship will be an easy one? Those really spectacular ones are born just like that - lots of pain, anger, confusion, hurt feelings etc. But it just gives you more joy when at the end they get their chances for some happily (maybe) ever after.

Can't wait for the first chapter :)

I've always been a sucker for complicated relationships, the more turbulent the better. Hence my being in this fandom and shipping K/S. :) So yep, that post is by no means to say that writing this is hard toil which I don't enjoy in the slightest. Because it is, but I do. A lot. :D

Thanks, bb. ;)

Good god! Of course there are more that 2.5 of us who are now salivating while we wait for Part IV!

As a matter of fact, I will be rereading the other parts to prepare. Yeah, DNSB is that awesome. And so are you.

I must admit that I came here originally for the Pike/Spock and I can't promise to continue reading the series, but I'm definitely all thumbs up for you taking the long path towards the relationship.

K/S in TOS practically leaps down from the screen, but in Reboot, it's really far from that.

I totally understand, and thank you. :)

And yes, it does. But when we see them in TOS, they are BFFs or on a short track to being them already. Here in Reboot, we have to start not just from scratch but from the minus something zone. Oh, the chemistry is there, but for some of us that alone isn't enough. ;)
