I feel like I don't have the words to describe how much I love this. I feel like a Vulcan- overwhelmed and out of touch with my own emotional response.
I love this. And love is supposed to be the word that encompasses everything I am feeling, but it still feels so inadequate.
So, forget the emotional, let’s do concrete: Instantly memed. Will rec this endlessly. And the highest complement I give fanfic writers: *This is my personal cannon.*
I felt a bit self-indulgent doing this, because it's the kind of background story that every writer needs for character development, but it's usually not all that interesting to the readers. >.<
I'm so happy you enjoyed it!
Have your fic planned and outlined. It's totally in the works.
The characterization, the foreshadowing, the layers of psychology... you never cease to amaze me, and this story is truly a testament to your immense talent. :-)
That was long, beautiful and a compelling read. I couldn't stop reading and gosh, your way with words completely haunt me. *g*
I love seeing all of this through Spock's eyes and it's just heartbreaking to know it will end D:. This is truly amazing and given the chance, I will reread through again and again! :D
Thank you very much. I guess it haunted me for a while, too, all the beauty and uniqueness that really was Vulcan. It's so unfair that it had to be destroyed. I just wanted to give it a chance to live and breathe before it happened. ^.^
Ohhhhh, Spock! *hugs him close* How is there not more fabulous Spock based stuff like this??
This was amazing! I loved how you built up Vulcan as this real place, that Spock loved and was a part of - makes it all bittersweet when we know what's going to happen. And the characters you created were very well done - nothing rubbed the wrong way with them at all.
And as always, your Spock voice and pov was amazing. The relationships all felt very real, and T'Pol was the one who nudged him towards Starfleet? OF COURSE SHE WAS!! Very nice to watch Spock realising that he had another choice, and that it might be what he always wanted/needed. And Spock the speed freak? Yes please!
BASICALLY, I adored this. Thanks so much for sharing!
I'm happy Vulcan comes off as a real place and I did want to give the impression that Spock was a part of it. There's this thing about one's native town or, in this case, planet. No matter how it treats you, you're still theirs and they are yours. Spock might not have been too happy there, with the bullying and stuff, but it still was his home.
And sneaky T'Pol is sneaky. ;)
Thank you very much for giving it time of the day. <3

This Spock is the other side of Kirk´s coin. His own kind of rebel.:D He needs so much love.
T´Pol..well, T´Pol is T´Pol. Beautiful, elegant, sly. With a taste for fast cars! Loved her.
It´s good to know more of DNSB T´Pol and Archer.

"In Starfleet, I met the man I fell in love with. The man I loved more than my life."
To the future. *dreamily, lifts her red wine, drinks and sighs, thinking of what will be*
