LOL. I keep bringing in strong women, aren't I? Actually, she's a TNG/DS9 character. But I figured she could have had a mother or a grandmother in the service, right? ;)

wow this chapter was amazing, Jim was trying to tell him, that he is more than needed, even desired.
all the bad boys trying to lynch the poor Kirk, because they couldn't lynch him.
Spock is totally at the wall without exit, at least he want see his Saviour without a future.

i like your politics in all things!

I really want to read the part 4.

Thank you, it's a bitch to draw out!

And yes, Spock pretty much has his hands tied up -- but only by his own ethics. And perhaps emotions. ;)

Thank you very much, Part 4 will be coming... some time after NY, I believe.

Hey, I'm glad someone caught up on the 'we're totally not out on a date here' thing. :D

Thank you so much for reading! <3

Yay!!!!!

You still have me checking up on you every day for updates. You were right, this whole chapter did go faster than one or two, but it certainly didn't hurt for quality.

bestest line:
impossible, unfathomable, infuriating human seems to have turned Spock’s destiny into one of ultimate surrender

This takes me to a happy place, really it does. Even better because Spock doesn't know it yet, but those are the reasons he loves him.

Will wait somewhat patiently for the next part ^_^

The quote on your icon is so true. ;)

Thank you very much for reading, and I'm really sorry to say that Part 4 won't be online before NY for certain. RL has its demands sometimes. I'm sorry.

Nechayev is just delightful! So stronge-willed and harsh (that comment about Papa Kirk, buuuuuurn...)!

You're making me question the actual movie ending more and more. It doesn't really seem likely they would appoint Jim captain of the Enterprise even if they have experience a slight reduction in personnel... Figures some ord farts from Headquarters would want his ass out of the chair as soon as possible.

Can't wait to see where you're gonna take this! Also, it's the holidays, so that means moar chapters right???? *is excited*

Yep, Nechayev totally rocks. People often see her as a heartless bitch with no principles, but what they don't understand is that she's even harsher to herself. She's cool, I hope to show more of her.

*laughs wickedly* No seriously. The movie had made so 'much' sense where fleet promotions and functions are concerned that I can't even begin to say. I'll leave my work speak for me. ;)

Sadly, no. Part 4 likely won't be up till after NY. I'm sorry. :(
