Or maybe it’s something else entirely.
Spock’s face, focused and calm, peaceful, but also - joyous. It’s unmistakable in the quiet intensity of his eyes as he peers at his new bondmate, as though unable to look away even for a moment. Spock’s looking at him like he’s a gift Spock never dreamed to have, and suddenly it’s there in front of him, welcoming him, hisSpock’s radiating delight and gratitude and that deep, heady affection that comes with protectiveness, belonging, and need - the kind that leaves no place for pride. Spock is a proud being, but he seems to have forgotten it completely at the moment ( ... )

Poor Jim

As Acting Captain one of Jim's duties, after all the Nero mess, is to take the time and keep a very happily stoned Pike informed of what is going on with his ship. Up to you if Pike is a giggly stoner, or a grabby one or whatever... I just do not want him to be a crying/sad stoner.

Pike’s singsong voice was starting to grate on Jim’s nerves. He was beginning to see now why Nogura’s assistant had looked so gleeful when he tasked Jim with keeping the newly promoted admiral in the loop.
“Jim is a very nice name, don’t you think?” Pike mused amiably. “Though I don’t really get how they make Jim out of James. Now, Jamie is a whole different-”
Jim tuned him out mostly out of self-preservation. He had half a mind to ask Bones what kind of drugs the admiral was on, because they sure seemed like top-shelf shit.
“You look like a Jamie,” Pike told him, grinning happily.
There were days when Jim really, really hated his promotion.

Jim glanced up at the smiling bartender. She had to be 21 at least to be working here, but she didn’t look it. Jim suddenly felt old.
Then he remembered the way Pike and Spock had been beaming at each other since the beginning of this stupid reception and shook his head, gesturing for a refill.
The girl pursed her lips even as she complied. “I’m going to have to cut you off after this one. But maybe it’s a good thing.”
Jim highly doubted that. “Oh?”
She smiled at him coyly. “Well, I get off in ten minutes and I thought we could maybe, you know?”
Jim blinked. Strangely enough, after 10 months in space, being hit on by a pretty woman felt almost like a nouvelle experience.
He squinted. She was pretty. And after another couple of shots that he could probably coax out of her, it wouldn’t matter anyway ( ... )

Awesome Jim doesn't get the girl flirting, until she is very direct and so oblivious of Spock that if he didn't see Pike with another he never believe it as a possiblity... You are awesome my friend i hope you are better!!!
Big Hugs!!!

Merlin swallowed, his naked back pressed against the old oak, warm and scratchy against his skin. He wanted to be good, he wanted, but obedience never came easy, and then - there were two imperious fingers pressed under his chin, tilting it up commandingly, but so very gently. Merlin whimpered, and his curious, traitorous eyes flew up of their own volition.
There was a mouth, lush, wine-red, curled in a teasing smirk. Merlin licked his lips, and felt a sweet-scented puff of air against his face, a breath caught and released, persistent fingers tugging him even closer, searing-hot, inescapable.
He looked up, and there were eyes - emerald green, huge, impossibly bright. They were laughing at him but not unkindly, and as he held their mesmerizing gaze they sizzled.
With Want.

And that's news how? :P
Hm, I might consider writing more maybe, but right now I've got to go and mark this day on the calendar, because damn, unless I'm hallucinating (please don't tell me if I am), you just told me you actually liked one of my stories in terms amazingly unambiguous. Celebration. :D
