Sooo... this is my first actual cross-stitch project. I've dabbled in it before, but never got past a couple of hours on any project. I'm putting some actual time into this one!

Woo!

The husband & I went hiking at Mount St. Helens on Sunday. We both got sunburned like hell. Owie. We had fun though. We tried to make it to Loowit Falls, but we had to turn back near the end. It was getting late.

Halestorm - It's Not You

Some people care a lot about the origins of their food. Enough to get into a fist fight, it seems.

One witness quoted Bechard as saying, "Food doesn't come from San Francisco, food comes from Portland."

So, the husband & I went to the Berlin Inn last night. I've never had authentic German food, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. But I liked it, it was good stick-to-your-ribs food. The fondue was the best, I think.

I've also been on a huge neofolk kick for the past couple of days. I love Wardruna. (See icon. Pretty hair!)

So I finally got around to uploading my photos from Ireland. Some are really nice, my favorites are in my scrapbook.

She finally got her notice from the landlord the other day.  Which resulted in a nice screaming match between the two.  She is obviously going to fight the eviction, which means that she'll probably be here for at least another month.  Bleh.

Worked on my legs yesterday.  Squats, stiff-legged deadlift, calf raises, and back hyper-extensions.  I haven't done this in so long, it'll take a long time to get back to where I was.  Its already getting easier, though ( Read more... )
