Once more, with stealing

Sorry. You know I can never resist a good pun!

Anyhoo, I've PM'd the author of the story which has such remarkable similarities to mine.

...sleep?

Sorry, I may have hit the late shift version of the three o'clock slump. *sigh*

Although I reckon tea is probably high up on my list. It makes coping with things easier, even a little.

Never underestimate the awesomeness of sleep. I love sleeping in the day - it is the best quality sleep I ever get, probably because I'm not stressing about missing my alarm or what I'm doing at work the next day.

Ah, the three o'clock slump. Chocolate cures that, I find :) Also tea. Mmm, tea. I've just discovered Twinings green tea and cranberry. It is delicious.

Ugh, plagiarists. I will never understand them!

My one small pleasure in life... it's definitely doggie cuddles. I have a gigantic German Shepherd who loves to curl up next to me on the couch, propping his head on my leg or hip or whatever's convenient for him, and I unabashedly use him as a footwarmer during the cold months. He's even big enough to properly hug. So that's my favorite thing.

I'm skipping understanding and going straight for disdain, personally.

Aw on the doggie cuddles! There's something about pets that just makes the world that bit better. I wish our flat was big enough to get a kitten - I miss having animals padding about the place.

Well, I guess it's a kind of compliment - assuming the rest of it is written well - though, I am sure it is one you can do without. Plagiarism is just plain stupid. Rude, too, but most of all stupid.

My one small pleasure in life is a good read. I would say a book, but there are plenty of fanfics that would fall into my favourite reading list.

Well, I've had no reply from her, so off I go to the mods & stop_plagiarism community.

Ooh, definitely a good call. Getting lost in a great story is one of life's finest pleasures. You look up; the clock's moved unexpectedly far.

I've got a good few books I'm itching to get my hands on, but most aren't out til 2010! (Including Strange Fate, finally.)

I can't wait for it either. Although to be honest, until it's in my sticky little mits I'm not quite sure I believe it. It's taken so damn long. I know she's had some real life issues, but... sticky mits it is!

2010 promises to be a good year for books me thinks.

I'm totes going to look up this plagiarist's story now. Stolen content fascinates me; just how bold people are willing to get in their rip-offery.

GRR, people suck sometimes.

Simple pleasure in life = PUNS, actually! Haha. I make the worst puns all the time, complete with the whole, "Eh? Eh? Get it?" Your title pun made me very very happy.

She is pretty bold, I have to say.

*grin* I love a good pun! They're puntastic! Alas, not everyone shares our whimsical love of wordplay...
