There is something about the new flat - several somethings - which remind me of home. Mum and Dad's home, I mean. The door into the living room has glass panels in, which is just like the one leading into the dining room. The walls are the same magnolia. I'm sure you will look back on the hard times you're going through now and remember the good times more clearly, more vivdly and hopefully the bad times will be a distant memory. Nostalgia is a funny old thing. I didn't realize it could hit with such a thump until recently.

Thank you. I think once we are settled and the deposit has been returned, and I have little time to relax it'll be a bit better.

The bad times make us who we are just as much as the good. *hugs* We don't realise this until we look back on them later. Sometimes I want nothing more than to be able to go back home, though I'm not the person who could easily live with her family anymore.
