Other than that this fic is made of epic win and yes yes yes yes yes moooar! ^_^
I especially liked the way you described the fever, both her observation and his feelings (aching calm? I know that!), as well as her "morbid curiosity", it fits her really well, is intriguing and - since the fic practically opens with this - gives the story a slightly more twisted feeling than it would have otherwise had. I like it!^^
