TITLE: Numbers Game
FANDOM: Stargate Atlantis
LENGTH: 100 words
MOOD/RATING: PG
PAIRING: None
SUMMARY: Trisha's guessing Sheppard can't count.

There was an unspoken rule that Gate Teams were four man teams, even though the Marines traditionally worked with six. Patricia had asked why once, and was directed back to the Air Force for answers. The Air Force shrugged and pointed to the success of SG-1, who were rather annoyed when she noted they were actually a two man team with two civilians. And who sent Air Force officers out as grunts anyways?

So when she was given her own team, she compromised with five (leaving room for the inevitable alien sidekick) and no one seemed to notice the difference.
