I forgot to comment on this week's Hawaii Five-O. That was an excellent episode. P Diddy can come be on my H50 any time he wants! Not enough Danny though.... though is there ever enough Danny? Not really. Danny could be in every scene and there still wouldn't be enough Danny for me. I need Danny 24-7-52 ( Read more... )

I need to catch up on H50! I really like it, I'm just behind. I've dug Scott Caan since Varsity Blues and he's doing great work on H50. I've only seen about half the season, but I hope they're using DDK more in the second half. That's something I never would have said before Lost, lol, as I hated him on Angel! ;)

He was on Angel? I don't remember that. Not that I've watched every ep, but sporadically. Anyway.

Yeah, I love DDK, and I do think they utilize him a lot more in the second half. I would say actually that between him, Caan, and Kono they're used about the same, with Steve being the obvious "star". Though, in my heart, Caan is totally the star. Since, exactly, Varsity Blues.

He was just recurring on Angel, as Gavin, probably in a dozen eps or so as a coworker to Lilah and Lindsey at W&H. I'd be interested to go back now and rewatch and see if my read on DDK is the same since Jin!

I'm glad they're using him more! And yes, Caan is the star in my books too. So funny and charming! Now, I don't have anything against Alex O'Loughlin, and he's perfectly fine in his various roles, but CBS is really trying to make him happen for some reason, and it cracks me up that Caan is more effortless in winning over the masses, it seems. Then again, lots of show leads have to be the straight man to the wild bunch of "characters" that surround them. (Poor Jack. I loved you anyway.)
