I'm seriously not even going to say all that much, except to say that those that live in glass houses should stop throwing stones.

Not to rain on the parade, but that's actually a pretty old Gore hit piece. If I remember the rebuttals (that weren't well covered), Gore's house is old. So yes, energy inefficient. But he's spent a good deal of his own money in recent years to refurbish it and make it more efficient.

So what's worse, having an energy inefficient house, or selling it to another sucker and spending the money to build a new one?

What does anyone need a 20 room mansion for in the first place? That's just ridiculous. And expensive.

I remember hearing about this a while ago and it just irked me. People actually did defend Gore, but I can't remember what their arguments were. Heh.

What's amusingly hypocritical is if the houses were reversed, this would be all over the news as more evidence of Bush being "evol".

That is surprising and kind of cool (the Bush house). That architect should get more attention... and start building. :)
