oh Jack, you big ol' face. Kelly, remember in Torchwood episode 1 when he's talking about the contraceptives in rain. He says "Still, 'least I won't get pregnant. Never doing that again."
And yet....If you recall in The Long Game, in the year 200,000 the following news bulletin was made by Cathica:
CATHICA Latest news... sandstorms on the new Venus archipelago. Two hundred dead. Glasgow water riots into their third day... spacelane 37 closed by sunspot activity. And over on the Bad Wolf channel, the Face of Bo has just announced he's pregnant. ITs just something interesting to think about, the Face of Boe announcing he's knocked up on the BAD WOLF channel. *smirks

Re: Jack--Captain Jack has been pregnant once in his timeline (one of his timelines) as of the pilot of Torchwood because he makes a comment that he'll never get pregnant again. If he becomes the Face of Boe, that ain't gonna happen because Boe gives birth to at least 6 kids in the 2001st century. However, since I don't know where Jack's timeline had taken him prior to when he showed up in Dr. Who the first time (The Empty Child), I don't know if he had time-jumped forward and been labeled as The Face of Boe in human form. Jack knows who Face of Boe is (according to the Who novels), so it's gonna be slightly difficult to make the timelines cross correctly...but then again, Who is known for having all these loose ends that you think don't intersect, but then you find out they all tie together perfectly.
Someone mentioned today that Captain Jack's timeline probably looks like silly string and I readily agree. He was born in the 51st century, went back and lived in the 20th and 21st century, then went back and lived in the 19th, 20th, and 21st century again, and there's 2 years missing of his life, and we don't know where he was before WWI so it's possible he went back further or timejumped ahead, and then there's the Face of Boe timeline if he's integrated into that. Captain Jack, he's seen it all...possibly multiple times.
I just last night realized that in WWII (on his second time through) there was original Captain Jack (who got killed in the war), our Captain Jack (from Empty Child), and Immortal Captain Jack (Torchwood) all living at the same time. That's wild.

:D Seriously though, I lean towards the timey-wime ball of time explanation. :D
