Ooh I really liked this fic. I'm glad to see someone else out there shares my opinion that Justin's really the manipulative one of the two. He always seems one step ahead of Richard, despite the fact Richard obviously has the nihilistic thing going for him. And I like how you wrote Richard's POV, too. You got inside his head quite nicely.

BASICALLY LJ FUCKING SUCKS!!! It never sent me the comment to tell me this had been written! So I pretty much just stumbled across it now! Sorry I never responded!! NOT PERSONAL AT ALL, I SWEAR! BLAME EL-JAY!!!!!

But now I've FINALLY read it, and it's fucking lovely. The way you characterise the boys, Richard especially, is fantastic. And the push-pull of their relationship, the way it's both of their faults and at the same time, neither's. I love how Richard starts to manipulate Justin, and it becomes sexual, but not even homosexual. Like yeah, they're two guys, so technically it is, but that's not why Richard's doing it. It's purely for the sake, the thrill, of having someone, anyone, in thrall to him. AMAZING.

I love it when you give me links to fics that you have written that I haven't, for some reason or another, read. This was so fucking perfectly Richie. Fuck, it was brilliant. It was his voice and his life and his attitude and it was everything that he was in the movie, but more because you always make it more. Damn, you are so good. Yes, I agree, write another one and make it slashier. Because that is hott. And because you do it so damn well.
