I don't really think Roxas's hair looks anything like an onion. (Though it does kinda sorta look like the Onion Knight's)
Maybe I'm just looking at it the wrong way, but even if it does, that still doesn't mean you should call him "the onion haired boy"

And why does Roxas looking like an onion appearently naturally lead to Sora being a pancake?

Because while Roxas is bitter Sora is sweet and loaded with carbohydrates, and not to mention that the boy goes with every kind of flavor of fun. And the fact that we all know that Sora would love those Mickey Mouse pancakes they make!
