I notice that Tifa and Yuffie manage to slide under the radar when it comes to bashing. Or maybe I just haven't found enough people that hate them.

But why? I've only met maybe two people who were able to logically explain to me why they hate Kairi or Namine. The rest of it's just interrupting buttsex or "zomg Kairi means separate so she's separating Sora and Riku's buttsex".

On an unrelated note, I'm glad the Aerith bashing isn't as rampant as it is in the FF7 fandom. The only thing we tend to bash is her KH2 voice.

*shamelessly slides into the conversation* Mostly, people that have logical reasons to dislike Kairi do so due to her plot devicey nature, and how for quite a bit of both games she plays the role of damsel in distress. Her lack of development doesn't help her either.

As for Namine... I got nothing.

Isn't Sora supposed to be Disney's property? And Riku..and the made up characters in KH...

But I might be wrong. I think I read it long ago on another comm and how Disney had the rights over Sora and Co.

I'm starting to wonder about that, myself. I don't know for sure, but I'm starting to suspect that Disney doesn't have a total vicegrip on the KH original characters as they do on their own. I make this claim based on Japanese doujinshi. It seems to be perfectly okay to make and sell Organization slash doujin, but if they tried to make doujinshi with actual Disney characters, Disney'd probably sue the crap out of them. At any rate, I've never seen a Disney doujinshi, and I've seen just about everything else under the sun. XD;
