Get out of my head and onto the damn paper!!!

Don't you hate it when you come up with a really awesome idea that would make you a legend among fic-writers, but you CANNOT WRITE IT DOWN?

Because my Lion King/KH/Fire Emblem crossover has been refusing any sort of written media for WEEKS.  Not because I can't handle the epic-ness of all three fandoms, but because I CANNOT START IT FOR THE LIFE OF ( Read more... )

I understand the need for betas and the frustration at writer's block, but I think this is more of a personal journal rant than a KHFFR rant...

Yes, well, I've had this problem more than once when starting a KH fic and I don't consider this a very personal-journal thing. :P

I swear, the more KH ideas I spawn, the less I can write about them--one of these days I'm going to explode into a mass of plot-bunnies and Stubbornly-Resistant!Muse.

My problem is I know how I want to begin the fic, and I know how I want to end the fic. It's the important bits in between that don't want to agree with me.

Ugh, I have that exact same problem. I hate writing the inbetween bits, because I just want to get to my ending!

Yup! That's happening to me right now, actually. xD

When I have problems like that, I usually just write down one or two lines that keep playing over and over in my head, and see if I can't develop something from there.
