Yikes, did someone flip out on your about that, or something? That's a load of bull, everyone's got a right to what they like.
For me, I enjoy switches. I've never really enjoyed the seme/uke dynamic for the very reasons you mentioned above; they rarely tend to be written well or, when drawn, the uke usually ends up looking like a girl. Which makes me cry. ;_; If I want to read about Cloud being vulnerable and being the bottom, I still want him to be the cranky, angsty, manly manly he is.
Just a little, but I got more worked up over it than I should have :(
Sometimes, I'm okay with the uke looking like a girl because when my mom walks past my computer, it isn't as embarassing. BUT I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND YOUR WANT FOR MANLY!CLOUD. There needs to be more D:
I have to second what pinkfrills___ said. Why the heck does it matter who's topping and who's bottoming? It's the same characters, same pairing. If they're both IC, it really shouldn't matter. (I'll admit that I do get tired of seeing Cloud take it all the time, though.)
And I don't know, maybe it's just me, but forming an opinion about KH/FF characters paired together based on one story seems kind of ridiculous, especially if the story is as bad as it sounds. :/
It's not that it offended me. xD I just think it's kind of silly to base an opinion on a bad story. Kind of like watching an old sci-fi B movie, not liking it, and thus deciding that all sci-fi movies are lame.

I can see how you'd prefer reading fic where the character you want to read about is uke. I prefer it too sometimes, although I mainly would rather fic where you can't tell who's the dominate partner and who's not at first glance.
That said, I agree with the comments before me: classification as seme or uke doesn't and shouldn't matter. The comment you got was just plain stupid D:

Your Cloud looks fine to me. Although I kinda want to punch the person you made the top comment (the 'one question' one.)
