Exercizing My First Amendment Rights

Hello, everybody.  =)

Thanks to the responses I've gotten from my latest post, I've decided to bite the bullet and finally let out one of my biggest pet peeves.

I. Really. Can't. Stand. gin and sin.

I was hesitant to write about it, because, well, everyone seems to just adore it.
I don't. I consider it to be one of the worst fanfictions

Didn't somebody imply that gin and sin could have Bubba and some other hick-ish name for main characters and it would make just as much sense? :/

Never actually read it myself though, didn't get past the first chapter...

XD Personally, I wasn't talking about G&S when I was saying that- I had been scanning a fic where Sora would cut himself due to omg!sadnezz and then send/show the bloody marks and knives to Riku.

Haven't read the fic in question and probably won't, since it doesn't sound like my cup of tea anyway. But I agree with all your points regarding characterizations and believable plot development.

And I am quite curious about this Belle/Gaston fic, now... You wouldn't happen to have the link handy, would you? Or recall if it was on LJ or the Pit? >.>

Thank you veddy much. :D I will probably read that after work tomorrow, since I'm on my way to bed right now...

Also, meant to say before - go you for standing up against popular opinion. XD; I have a similar reaction to that "Those Lacking Spines" fic. I won't deny that the three leading men are pretty well-written, but I don't find it all that HUMOROUS, and the general concensus seems to be that it's side-splittingly funny. @_@

Never actually finished reading it because it just wasn't holding my interest. Then again, fics that parody badfic don't generally interest me, because I'm of the mindset that the time could be better spent reading... goodfic. Instead of reading a fic written by a goodfic!author that's full of the same stereotypes that I hate from badfic. If that makes any sense aloud. XD;
