"Too Disney"? Jigga what?
I've been seeing this for a while and it's starting to bug the Disney fan in me.
"So and so wouldn't do whatever because they're too Disney", or "So and so wouldn't do whatever because they're a Disney character."

A recent example I saw and that I'll use for the basis of this rant was "Sora wouldn't cuss because he's too Disney". While I'll agree Sora probably wouldn't cuss that much, if even, I highly disagree with the justification for that being because "he's too Disney". Disney has been making G rated movies about not very G rated people for the longest time now, including my personal favorite and main fandom Aladdin. Hell, the stories they come from are not G rated AT ALL. Have you ever read the original version of "The Little Mermaid" or the myth of Hercules? Whooooo boy. But the point is, either way, they are still normal people who would do normal things, which include cuss. Yes, there's no cussing in this game, but that Disney/Square Enix censor preventing that is just that--a censor. That has nothing to do with what the actual characters would say and do if they weren't in this rated E10 game. The same thing goes for if they weren't in a Disney movie with the Disney censor over them. That's like those crazy people I hear sometimes who say "Disney characters wouldn't have sex because they're too good and wholesome for that". Just because you didn't physically see them do it in the movie surely doesn't mean they didn't *points to Lady and the Tramp* or hey, just to make it a close to home example *points to Simba and Nala in KHII* She was friggen' PREGNANT when we went back the second time, no? And lolz--have you not seen the gazillion sequels featuring a Disney couple's child? You think they bought that kid at a yard sale? NO, CAUSE THEY GOT IT ON.
But to get back on topic, you can't tell me the Disney characters in this game wouldn't cuss if they could. Just to name a few as examples....Donald? Iago? Just about anyone from Pirates of the Caribbean? Hades? And even for the non-Disney movie/created for this game characters, too. Hayner? Riku? VARIOUS MEMBERS IN THE ORGANIZATION? What about the Final Fantasy characters? Tweaked for KHII game play or not? *waves her copy of Advent Children*. You mean to tell me NO ONE from any of the three main parts that make up Kingdom Hearts wouldn't cuss in this game if it was allowed? LALALA NOT LISTENING!! I mean come on, now! Yeah, you'll probably never hear these characters cuss unless their VA grants you fan squeeage by doing so, or they sound like their character all the time and they cuss in another role with a different character, but you mean to tell me you can't tell if a character would cuss or not? Sure some of these characters may not cuss obsessively, say certain "big cuss words", or even cuss around certain people, but to hell if they don't cuss at all just because of the company they belong to. Could you imagine how dull fandom would be if everyone stayed in that game censor and never thought of the characters past that? That they just wrote fanfiction or drew fanart with the censor goggles on? No more porn and crackfics for you!
I know Disney prides itself on that wholesome family image and fun for all ages mark that's always there, and while you probably won't see to many scandalous or PG-13 and up rated actions in their movies anytime soon, that doesn't mean the characters embedded within them wouldn't do so in their own little "not-censored-for-your-viewing-pleasure" world. That same logic applies to this game. Just because we don't see or hear a character say or do something, doesn't mean they won't and it sure isn't because "they're too Disney". Disney is all about "teh happee!11" sure, but when you really look into some of their movies *coughExample:THEHUNCHBACKOFNOTREDAMEcough* and characters, you'll find stuff isn't as sugar coated and happy!Sora like as you think to put him in that category. As a matter a fact, If I were to say Sora is an official Disney character (he's more like the illegitimate Disney character child because he sorta is, but he sorta isn't), I think he's probably in the top ten of the happiest/not screwed up that much ones, which is saying a lot considering he goes around killing people with a giant key and wears suits with magical powers XD.
