Dude, you win. The Lion King was my favorite movie when I was a kid, and yeah the lions are awesome, but there's way more out there! Animals are so interesting that we ought to be able to convince people to look up different things for the Org. to be on the basis that it's not really research if it's fun. :P

I kinda wanna do some of these given that I drew animals fairly well, but it's been so long since I've drawn anything I'm scared of how shitty it'll look.

Word. Wordwordword. I like the idea of what the Org would look like in the Pride Lands, but most of the art I've seen pin them as lions. :| I ended up thinking a lot on the subject and sorta doodled some of the (mostly non-leonine) forms as I personally them for some future fanarting I'd like to do. Of course, whether those doodles are of decent quality to be shown are debatable. >_<

I've had the following species in mind:

Xemnas - Lion
Xigbar - Cape hunting dog
Xaldin - Sable antelope
Vexen - Brown hyena
Lexaeus - Black rhinoceros
Zexion - Civet (formerly a melanistic leopard, but I ended up tweaking)
Saix - Leopard (melanistic)
Axel - Serval (who I actually have a finished drawing of)
Demyx - Cape clawless otter
Luxord - Large-spotted genet (because I couldn't think of anything else)
Marluxia - Black egret
Larxene - Cheetah

So... yeah. Your ideas are definitely more creative (pangolin! secretary bird! ♥). XD All in all, it's great to see somebody else thinking outside the box!

Not only do you have some incredibly cool ideas (Xaldin as a sable antelope is AWESOME, even if I prefer him as a porcupine), but your drawing of serval!Axel is GORGEOUS. I LOVE servals. They're amazing kitties. And yeah, I can see the majority of the Organization as predators. My point is, anything's good as long as it's something other than a lion. Anyone who can think and draw these creatures is just great.

Only quibble I have is Marluxia. As awesome as black egrets are (have you sen their hunting style. It's just incredible) I don't see Marluxia in that role.

In any case, Serval!Axel is very very cool. And hey, anyone who knows of genets at all gets a big heaping helping of love from me.
