I have/had cancer on my largest organ!  (gotta keep a sense of humor about these things)

I showed a spot on my left temple to my Doctor in July that wasn't healing.  My family Practice Doc delayed things 3 months (July-Sept) thinking it wasn't anything to worry about. Gave me prescription topical antibiotics. sigh. That wasn't working, and finally

It sounds like you have some good news then--good luck getting the hole healed up and no cancer coming back!
