The past week's been crazy. Had my youngest brother over for the week. Not so crazy, actually really nice and fun. It's summer and I'm 23! I know I didn't post on my birthday, but I was busy. I really was. I had one of my best friends over and we watched a movie and I had a bottle of raspberry lambic to myself. It wasn't a raucous party, and I'm plenty happy with that.

Last weekend my brother Grant went in for appendicitis and had his removed. We thought he was fine until I got a call from Mom Friday saying he's bleeding out near his colon, but luckily not his colon. The surgeons are trying to stop the bleeding using medication. As of yesterday, he's lost 10% of his blood volume but the bleeding is slowing down. ( Read more... )
