Woohoo! I'm glad to hear you (a) have something, and (b) have something that at least makes use of *some* of your previously developed skillset, even if it wasn't the skills you were using at your last occupation.

The only skill set this job is using is my personal interaction. While this is a big trait, I feel my core skills are on the technical side. If I can be successful at this, however, I can still make use of this job and the skills I learned here back in the tech world if I choose to.

Fantastic News! Glad to see it work out. Pay cut sucks, but it is better than starting out at the bottom somewhere else, and who knows where management will take you.
