For those who are keeping track I have a new housemate, $HOUSEMATE, who moved in at the beginning of June.  My new housemate loves animals, which is a good thing.  She wants a dog from the human society up here and has brought in a 'stray' cat she found outside (more to come on this).  I have some basic concerns with her owning animals at this ( Read more... )

Why must people use 'gay' in a derogatory manner and then get when they get called out on it they proceed to use the word 'gaids?'  Especially when that person is married to someone that is a strong supporter of queer issues.  How can they think that is going to turn out well?
