I’m over the Facebook thing. I think I just stay to lurk over the friends I met here that are all over there. I miss having this little spot, though, even when the memories are rough.
I looked at that last post of yours where you wrote: "It would be cool to have a do-over (wow, I could really abuse the hell out of something like that!!!) Ho hum. Maybe I'll give it another shot. *evil grin*"
So...which tune inspires your inner DJ more?
Dianna Ross: We don't have tomorrow, (There's no tomorrow here, There's only love, And the time to chase it) But we had yesterday
or Sting: Turn the clock to zero, Boss, The river's wide, We'll swim across, We've started up a brand new day
...or something else? Yeah, LJ is not as "swinging" as it used to be, but as Samuel Adams said: "It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." Happy writing. :)
My inner DJ is schizophrenic, but I’ll raise you a John Denver (actually written by Randy Sparks, I believe):
I can’t be contented with yesterday’s glory, I can’t live on promises, winter to spring. Today is my moment. Now is my story, I’ll laugh and I’ll cry and I’ll sing.
