I'd say you're allowed vomit-enducing cuteness on a day like that! :)

Interesting post! I have nothing intelligent to say but it was interesting and I totally agree with you in that I think love is all about the person, regardless of gender, for some people. i was remembering yesterday how my mum told me a while back that a (girl) friend of hers had a crush on her and I was wondering what I would think if my mum had dated a woman. And you know, I think I would be fine. I really believe that sometimes you can fall in love with a woman if you're 'straight' just because it is that particular woman and that doesn't make you a lesbian or whatever. Anyway, I wasn't going to write anymore than I agree, well put so I will stop now. Hope you're well!

I know a straight woman who fell deeply in love with another woman a while back. Also there's that movie 'Kissing Jessica Stein', but I kind of hated it because I didn't like the protagonists very much.

Haven't seen it. But Ann Heche - need we say more? Sexuality. So much fun. So very complicated.

^^ definitely

iain and i have our 2 year 'anniversary' the beginning of may (as much as i dislike the whole counting moments and the feeling that only on days like these and no other are you meant to be saying 'i love you' but this isn't the time or the place for a rant about that :) ) and i fully intend to have a post that is sickeningly sweet and vomit-inducing, but i feel that, since it's definitely not something i write about much on a public forum, i'll indulge myself every once in a while!

in other words, go for it :)

On the subject of identifying as queer but being currently in a heterosexual relationship, you should go talk to livredor who posted a while back about a similar thought.

I say: bring on the nauseating sentimentality! ;)
