I absolutely love it when you dabble in AU and future and past stories, because they're always fantastic and I always want more. This one is no exception. I really want to know the story behind Ciel and Rive and Mar and I sincerely hope you tell us more of it at some point in the future.

Usually when I do this I'm just exploring a little and I don't really feel the urge to continue. But I don't think this drabble really satisfied my muse for this world. (Maybe because I had to cut it so hard - first draft for this was 817 words.) So maybe I will end up doing more with this...

Wow. This is...interesting. Kinda makes me want to know more. (And, like in the comment above, if you ever do write more on this, please let me know as well!)

I love how you've managed to create something so dense in such a small word count- I love how many possibilities there are that aren't fully explained, but that're still so familiar. And it's interesting to see that both the White and Black Factions seem to be as bad choices for the characters as the other.

Also interesting to see the female team member being the one drawn to darkness, because I haven't really seen that in a lot of fics, but it works really well here. : D

Mm... in my head, it wasn't so much having the female team member being the one drawn to darkness, as having the team member drawn to darkness be female. (If that makes any difference at all...) Or, maybe it's clearer this way: in French, Ciel means "sky", Mar means "sea" and Rive is, according to the internet, a less-common term for "shore" or "land." (The more common one was Terra, which is taken...)
