No, but this is short and sweet and perfectly in character and I can see Cloud, a few steps away, gaze averted, head down and Aerith, leaning forward, bending over a little so she can look up at him and so he has to see her, has to see her happiness staring him in the face, has to stop running from the fact that people,that -she- cares about him.
I'm actually glad you didn't PM me, because I also had LJ account problems and couldn't reply, so you would have worried even more, and I wouldn't want that.
Ha, that's a new one for me... having my own drabble quoted at me. I think I like it. :)
And yes, this is the image I have of them. The slight hunch when he shows up in that ending sequence movie, Cid's excitement... it just caught me right in the feels when I played the game. FF7 was my return to gaming after a long, long hiatus, and was the first game I played with a long, played-out story in that way, so it's always going to be extra special to me.
